Visiting the Dallas Arboretum

We started out in Dallas on a 13 week contract and ended up staying for 9 months! We enjoyed the city and surrounding areas. We enjoyed going out site seeing in the city, taking day trips out in the surrounding area, as well as some over-night trips to place further away. One of our favorite places to visit was the Dallas Arboretum. It was just as beautiful in the winter as is was in the spring.

We spent many hours walking around the Arboretum on several occasions. We even took lunch one day and enjoyed some time sitting in the gardens and soaking up the views. On every visit there we encountered people having wedding pictures, prom pictures or beauty pageant pictures being taken. If ever in Dallas it is a must see!! (any time of the year)
